Fast-Casual Favorite Coming To Downtown Detroit

The restaurant is known for its fresh selections of bowl foods and salads.

DETROIT — A new fast-casual dining spot is coming to downtown Detroit.

Sweetgreen, known for its fresh and healthy meals, is planning to open a new spot in the One Campus Martius building along Woodward Avenue. The restaurant will be next to Adelina.

Sweetgreen did not say exactly when the restaurant will open. They will also share more details about their new location at a later date.

"We’re thrilled to be bringing our brand to the city of Detroit and officially become part of this dynamic, forward-moving community," co-founder and CEO Jonathan Neman said in a statement.

Sweetgreen serves meals made from fresh, high-quality ingredients and produce that prioritizes organic, regenerative and local sourcing.
