Gardner White Announces Opening Date For New Dowtown Detroit Store
The store will feature a new concept that includes furniture, home decor, art and other accessories from Detroit artists and local brands.
DETROIT — Gardner White plans to open a new store in downtown Detroit next month.
The store, which will be called GW Home, will open its doors at 10 a.m. June 6 at 1201 Woodward Ave. in Detroit.

Local artists featured include Martyna Alexander, Kaleigh Blevins, Jon DeBoer, Amy Feigley-Lee, Sehrish Hussain, Cristina Joya, Ivan Montoya, Sheefy McFly (Tashif Turner), Sarah Rice, Ellen Sherman, Dino "Edeth" Valdez, Luke Bryant, Andre Sandifer and Claire Thibodeau.
Local brands include Bloomfield Hills-based Crypton Fabric and Detroit-based Floyd. Other furniture brands include Bernhardt, Rowe, Vanguard, Drew and Jonathan Home. Premium bedding includes Tempur-Pedic, Aireloom, Kingsdown and Serta.
