Van Langevelde, a policy adviser and deputy legal counsel for state House Republicans, was one of two Republican members on the four-person panel that voted to certify November election results in Michigan. The move was controversial in some GOP ranks, and Van Langevelde said he was never approached about serving another term on the board following his vote in November.
Bradshaw also voted to certify Nov. 3 election results. She and Daunt join Republican Normal Shinkle and Democrat Julie Matuzak on the four-person panel, which certifies statewide elections, elections for legislative districts that cross county lines and all judicial offices except Judge of the Probate Court.
