Grace Centers of Hope Honor Pastor Kent & Dr. Pamela Clark
Newly named Pastor Kent & Dr. Pamela Clark Men's Center and Administrative Offices pays tribute to pair's more than 30 years of dedication

Grace Centers of Hope has officially renamed its facility at 35 E. Huron St. in Pontiac as the Pastor Kent & Dr. Pamela Clark Men’s Center and Administrative Offices, celebrating more than three decades of transformative leadership by Pastor Kent W. Clark and Dr. Pamela Clark.
The renaming recognizes the Clarks' enduring legacy of faith, compassion, and community service. Together, they led Grace Centers of Hope (GCH) from a small downtown shelter into one of Michigan’s largest and most respected faith-based recovery organizations, serving individuals and families battling homelessness, addiction, and abuse.
“This well-deserved honor serves as a lasting tribute to Pastor Clark and Dr. Pam Clark, whose relentless faith and vision reshaped countless lives across our community,” said Pastor Darin Weiss, GCH CEO. “Without their leadership, Grace Centers of Hope would not be what it is today. Their compassion and faith continue to inspire our mission every day.”

Under the Clarks' direction, GCH helped an estimated 20,000 people overcome life-controlling issues, expanded community programs, and established Little Grace Village, a model recovery community in Pontiac featuring more than 60 homes for program graduates. Their vision also extended to developing comprehensive education, job training, and recovery programs that now serve as benchmarks across the region.
Pastor Kent Clark and Dr. Pamela Clark stepped down from their leadership roles in late 2024, transitioning into emeritus and advisory positions. Pastor Clark continues to serve as board chairman, while Weiss and his wife, Amber Weiss, have assumed leadership as CEO and Director of the Women’s and Children’s Program, respectively.

“I am deeply humbled and grateful for this incredible honor,” Pastor Clark said. “Pam and I have been blessed beyond measure to witness God’s transforming power in so many lives over the years. Grace Centers of Hope has always been about faith, love, and second chances — and it has been the greatest privilege of our lives to serve this ministry and the people of Pontiac.”
Since 1942, Grace Centers of Hope has provided shelter, rehabilitation, and renewal for Southeast Michigan residents in need. Each night, the organization provides housing for 375 men, women, and children, while serving more than 238,000 meals annually.
