This MI Ice Skating Rink Is Among The Best In The Nation: Ranking

DETROIT — The skating rink at Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit has been named the best ice skating rink in the nation by USA TODAY readers for the second straight year.

USA TODAY released the 2025 10Best Readers' Choice Awards winter fun category winners on Wednesday.

"There's a silver lining to the frigid winters of Detroit, Michigan — skating at The Rink at Campus Martius Park. Located in the heart of downtown Detroit with stunning views of the city skyline, this rink has been a major magnet for locals and Olympians alike," USA TODAY said.

The Frankenmuth Ice Rink, located in the heart of downtown Frankenmuth in Zehnder Park, is the only other Michigan rink to make the list.
