Winter is here full force and meteorologists are predicting up to 6 inches of snow starting Wednesday night.

METRO DETROIT, MI — There's no denying that winter has arrived. While the weekend snow melted in near-40-degree temps, the midweek snow coming may linger a little longer, according to meteorologists.

Wednesday night snow will fall and run into Thursday. Some forecasters are predicting around 3-4 inches, while other simulations have up to 6 inches of snow falling in that timespan.
