Mom Found Passed Out On Heroin With 3-Year-Old In Car: Police
A 29-year-old woman was found unresponsive with her young daughter in the car at 2 a.m. Sunday.

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, MI — Authorities helped to revive a mother passed out on heroin in her car early Sunday morning, with her 3-year-old daughter in the backseat, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office. Deputies and the Independence Township Fire Department responded to the 2500 block of Mann Road after receiving a report that there was a woman in a silver Dodge Charger who was unresponsive.
Authorities found the young daughter in the car and the 29-year-old mother unconscious behind the wheel. It was determined she was using heroin and Narcan was administered, which made the woman alert again, according to authorities
The woman, from Waterford Township, was transported to the hospital for evaluation and the child was turned over to her grandmother. Child Protective Services was notified of the incident.
The case will be presented to the prosecutor’s office for review of possible criminal charges.
