Motorcyclist Dies In Crash On I-75 In Metro Detroit: Police

MONROE COUNTY, MI — A motorcyclist died in a crash on Interstate 75 in metro Detroit early Tuesday morning, according to Michigan State Police.
The crash happened at 5:43 a.m. Tuesday in the northbound lanes on the freeway near Michigan 26 in Monroe County, according to police.
A 53-year-old Detroit man was riding a maroon Honda motorcycle north on Interstate 75 where he crashed into the back of a service truck, throwing him from the bike, according to police.

The motorcyclist was killed in the crash, while the driver of the service truck, a 53-year-old Dundee man, was not injured in the crash, according to police.
