Multiple Crashes Across Metro Detroit Amid Snowy Conditions: MDOT

METRO DETROIT — Snowy weather led to multiple crashes across metro Detroit Thursday morning, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Road officials reported crashes along every major metro Detroit freeway, including Interstate 75, Michigan 39 and Interstate 94.

Here are some of the reported crashes as of 8:30 a.m. Thursday:

I-75

The southbound right center lane, right lane, right shoulder after Rochester Road - This crash has been cleared.

The southbound left shoulder, left lane near Grange Hall - Reported around 7: 30 a.m

The southbound left shoulder, left lane, right lane, right shoulder near Outer Drive - This crash has been cleared.

The northbound left shoulder, left lane, left center lane near Schaefer - This crash has been cleared.

I-275

The southbound left shoulder, left lane at Michigan 14 - Reported around 8 a.m

M-39

Southbound and Northbound lanes on M-39 to SB I-75 - Reported around 6 a.m

The northbound right lane, right shoulder near Joy Road - Reported around 7 a.m

I-94

The westbound left shoulder, left lane near I-75 - This crash has been cleared.

I-96

The westbound right shoulder at Novi Road - Reported around 7:30 a.m.
