Multiple Detroit Freeways Closed Due To Jackknifed Semi Trucks: Police
Michigan State Police did not report any injuries in the crashes.

DETROIT — Multiple Detroit freeways were closed Tuesday morning after numerous semi truck crashes, according to Michigan State Police.
All southbound Interstate 375 lanes were closed at Gratiot Avenue due to a jack-knifed semi, according to Michigan State Police.
Officials were also clearing another jack-knifed semi that closed southbound Interstate 75 at Vernor Highway, according to Michigan State Police.

There was also a jackknifed semi crash in southwest Detroit on northbound Interstate 75 near Fort Street around 3:35 a.m., according to Michigan State Police.
Officials did not report any injuries in the crashes.

Troopers said the crashes were caused by drivers going too fast.
"It really is pretty simple, slow down in the rain," Michigan State Police First Lt. Mike Shaw said.
