Report: 5 Children Injured During Thursday Morning Apartment Fire
The 25-year-old mother of the children refused treatment, according to the report.

DETROIT — Five children were injured during a Thursday morning apartment fire on Ostego Avenue, according to reports.
WXYZ this morning reported that the five children — ranging in age from 3 to 10 years old — were hospitalized for injures that included smoke inhalation. The report said the children were initially trapped inside the building.
The 25-year-old mother of the children refused treatment, according to the report.

The other adults were also trapped in the building, per reports, but were not injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
