See Coronavirus Cases Reported In Your Wayne County Community

See how many cases of the coronavirus have been reported in your Wayne County community.

WAYNE COUNTY, MI — There are nearly 4,000 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in Wayne County, according to the data provided by the county's health department.

The county reports 3,966 cases as of 5 p.m. Thursday. The health department has also reported that the coronavirus is responsible for 232 deaths in the county. Wayne County reports separately from Detroit, which leads the state in total number of cases of the coronavirus.

County numbers do not match numbers provided by the state. Patch has reached out to the Wayne County Health Department to ask for clarification regarding the discrepancy.

The majority of the coronavirus cases reported in Wayne County were in Livonia, where 366 cases were reported. Livonia also reported a county-high 45 deaths.
