SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN — Showers and thunderstorms are possible across southeastern Michigan on Wednesday as cooler air begins moving into the region, according to the National Weather Service.
The storms are expected to move into the region during the afternoon and evening hours Wednesday when highs in the region reach the 80s, the weather service said.
The main threat from the storms will be heavy rainfall, which could lead to localized flash flooding, the weather service said.

The cooler air, with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s, will stick around through the weekend across southeastern Michigan, the weather service said.
