Thunderstorms, Near 100 Degree Weather Coming To Michigan
Heat indices will reach 100 degrees over the next few days following a set of thunderstorms passing through the state.

MICHIGAN — Several counties all across Michigan are under a hazardous weather outlook at storms pass through, giving way to a heatwave this weekend. Starting Tuesday evening, thunderstorms and heavy rainfall are expected in the following counties: Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Tuscola, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe.
Low pressure entering the state late Tuesday night is expected to bring mild thunderstorms, with heavy rainfall being the primary threat. Storm motion will be northeast around 20 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
Storms will continue into Wednesday, followed by scorching temperatures by Friday, with heat indices approaching 100 degrees. Little relief will occur at sundown, with temperatures remaining close to 80 degrees throughout the night. The excessive heat warnings extend into Saturday.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms between 8pm and 2am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 69. East southeast wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Wednesday
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 4pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. High near 80. South wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Wednesday night
A chance of showers before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. West northwest wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. West wind 7 to 9 mph.
