Top Party Colleges: Which MI School Tops The List

This Michigan school is known for having a good time.

MICHIGAN — Niche has released a roundup of the top party colleges around the country and one Michigan university made the Top 20 list. Can you guess which one?

Michigan State University received an A+ store for its party scene, but with a lot of competition nationwide, it barely made the top colleges, rounding out the list at No. 20. Students raved on the website about the fun of the sports culture around campus. They also gave tips on navigating the parties around East Lansing, like having a buddy system.

The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor came in at a close second in Michigan, at No. 22. It also received an A+ grade. Finally, Central Michigan University made the top 100, at No. 62.

The rankings were determined by compiling and grading five different factors: student reviews on Niche, access to bars according to the U.S. Census, the college's athletic grades on Niche, the college's Greek life grade on Niche, and access to restaurants. The student reviews were weighted more heavily than any other category.

Wondering which colleges topped the list? That would be Tulane University in New Orleans, the University of Georgia, and Miami University in Ohio.
