WAYNE COUNTY, MI — Want to satisfy your child's sweet tooth this Halloween season? Wayne County deputies have the perfect solution.
The sheriff's office will kick off its 'Trunk or Treat' event this Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event will take place at the Wayne County Sheriff's Office headquarters, which is at 4747 Woodward Street in Detroit.

During the event, gun safety locks will also be available to gun owners.
