SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN — It’s expected to be a cloudy weekend coming up, with a chance of thunderstorms starting Friday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. A hazardous weather outlook has been issued across southeastern Michigan for the incoming storms and heavy rainfall in the strongest parts of the storm may cause minor flooding in poor drainage areas, the weather service warns.

After the weekend of showers, the week is expected to kick off Monday with sunny skies and temps near 80 degrees.
