Wheelchair-Bound Girl Reported Missing In Michigan

Have you seen this girl? Authorities said her non-custodial dad did not return her following a court order.

TRENTON, MI — Police are looking for a wheelchair-bound girl who is believed to be with her non-custodial biological father, according to authorities. Michigan State Police issued an Endangered Missing Advisory on Wednesday for 8-year-old Janna Marie Lewis, who was last seen in Trenton.

She believed to be with her dad, Michael Charles Lewis. He did not return her following a court order, police said.

Janna is described as wheelchair-bound. She is 4 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 35 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts needs to call Michigan State Police at 734-287-5000.

According to Michigan State Police, the EMA is used for cases involving missing persons that do not meet the AMBER Alert criteria.
