1 Dead, 1 Hurt In Shooting At Oakland County Cocktail Lounge: Police

A 30-year-old man was arrested for questioning in connection with the shooting, according to police.​

SOUTHFIELD, MI — One woman was killed and another woman was injured in a shooting at an Oakland County cocktail lounge over the weekend, according to police.

The shooting happened at 2:35 a.m. Saturday at Bloom Southfield in Southfield, according to police.

When officers arrived, they found one woman shot to death and another woman suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police.

The surviving woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she was expected to recover, according to police.

Police did not identify the victims.

Investigators said the women did not know each other and that the shooting stemmed from a fight in the parking lot.
