Beaumont, Farmington Hills Lifts Some Visitor Restrictions
The hospital had temporarily enforced a no visitation policy for the entire Farmington Hills campus beginning Aug. 13.
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — Beaumont Hospital's Farmington Hills location is lifting some visitor restrictions after seeing a reduction in the number of new cases with family members, staff and patients within the hospital, the health system announced Monday.
The hospital had, as an added precaution, temporarily enforced a no visitation policy for the entire Farmington Hills campus beginning Aug. 13. That restriction is lifted as of Monday.
Visitors will still be limited, according to the hosptial's COVID-19 guidelines, and visitors will contnue to be screened for coronavirus symptoms prior to entering the hospital.

Hospital officials said visitors will be given a sticker once they have cleared the screening process; if they do not pass the screening they will not be able to enter the hospital. Family members are required to clean their hands upon entry/exit to the acute care campus, patient's room and before/after eating or using the rest room. Masks must always be worn while on the campus.
