Farmington Schools Hosts Bond Information Meeting

Farmington Public Schools will present information about the bond proposal that is on the August 6 ballot..  

On Tuesday August 6, 2013, the residents of Farmington Public Schools will vote on a proposal to implement a long-range facilities plan that will address four primary areas within the schools:  safety and security upgrades, technology enhancements, upgrades to learning environments and infrastructure upgrades.  The $222 million program will cost the average homeowner between $7 - $9 per month (a 1.44 mill increase from 2012 tax levels).

The presentation will include an explanation of the timing of the bond election, impact of up-to-date schools on the community, and examples of improvements made to all schools.
