Oakland County Man Wins Big Powerball Prize From Michigan Lottery
An Oakland County man won a big Powerball prize from the Michigan Lottery playing his special numbers.
WATERFORD, MI ā A Waterford man won a big Powerball prize from the Michigan Lottery playing his special numbers.
Clinton Llewellyn, 62, won two $50,000 prizes after matching four white balls (02-11-22-35-60) and the Powerball (23) on two tickets in the Nov. 2 drawing to win. The prizes were then multiplied with the power play.
Llewellyn also matched three white balls and the Powerball on four other tickets to win four $100 prizes, which were also multiple with the power play, giving him a total of $200,800.

He bought his winning tickets online at MichiganLottery.com and plans to invest his winnings.
"I play Powerball a few times a year and usually play special number combinations made up of birthdates," Llewellyn said. "A few days after purchasing my Powerball tickets, I logged in to my account to purchase a Mega Millions ticket. When I saw my account balance, I knew Iād won big on Powerball and I couldnāt believe it! I called my wife right away and she thought I was playing a joke on her."

The Powerball jackpot was last won on Nov. 19. One ticket bought in Kansas won the $93 million jackpot. The current jackpot stands at $124 million.
