Popular Oakland County Pizzeria Closing Down This Week

SOUTHFIELD, MI — A popular pizzeria in Oakland County is planning to close down this week after serving up pizzas for more than six decades.

Capri Pizza, located on Greenfield Road in Southfield, is planning to shut down Saturday, June 1, according to restaurant officials.

Restaurant officials did not exactly say why the restaurant is closing.

The pizzeria is best known for its Detroit-style pizzas, as well as wings, salads, sweets and more.

The restaurant also has a ZaBot, a 24-hour pizza machine, in the parking lot.
