Smile America Partners welcomes Dr. Scott Kalniz to the board
Dr. Kalniz joins Michael Haynes (chair), Danial Gurvich, Robert Bergmann, Steve Higginbotham, Dr. Marcy Borofsky and Dr. Margo Woll.

Smile America Partners, the world’s leading Dental Service Organization (DSO) specializing in mobile dentistry delivered at school to benefit underserved youth, is proud to announce the addition of Scott Kalniz, DDS, to its board of directors.

Dr. Kalniz has an extensive background spanning 25 years in the dental industry. He currently serves as chief dental officer & vice president of network development at Beam Benefits. He runs Kalniz DSO Advisory Group, which is dedicated to guiding global and US entities in establishing top-tier DSOs. Further, he serves as a director on private equity-backed company boards, including Pacific Smiles Group, a publicly traded DSO in Australia.

Previous roles encompassed partnering with a private equity firm where he assumed the roles of CEO and chief dental officer to establish a new DSO, propelling its growth to over 110 locations in 12 states within five years. He also led a large dental group to success, eventually selling it to a DSO after purchasing multiple practices. Joining the DSO as director of development, he played a pivotal role in expanding it to 50+ locations. He earned a DDS and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on economics from The Ohio State University.
