Thieves Raid Second Vacant Farmington Hills Home

The home on Westcott Crescent was being prepared for new tenants.

The owner of a vacant home on Westcott Crescent in Farmington Hills contacted police Monday, after discovering appliances had been stolen. 

According to the report, the back door had been forced open, and an air conditioning unit, stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer were taken. The leased home was being prepared for new tenants who were set to move in Oct. 1. 

The owners of a home on North Brandon called police a week ago Monday to report appliances stolen. The report indicated that police found a patio door had been removed and a window was pried open. The refrigerator had been left in the family room, and the washer, dryer, furnace, hot water tank and other appliances were missing.
