Weekend Road Construction in Southeast Michigan
Here's a roundup of road closures and construction around southeast Michigan this weekend.

The following construction activities are scheduled for the weekend beginningĀ Friday, Nov. 8, and endingĀ Monday, Nov. 11. Some of this work may be postponed due to inclement weather or any unforeseen circumstances.
I-94:
In Detroit, eastbound I-94 at Trumbull Street will have the right lane closed fromĀ 8 p.m. FridayĀ toĀ 1 p.m. SaturdayĀ for bridge work.Ā

In Macomb County, eastbound and westbound I-94, between I-696 and Masonic, will have one lane closed fromĀ 5 a.m. SaturdayĀ toĀ 9 p.m. SundayĀ for wrap-up work. In addition, the eastbound I-696 ramp to eastbound I-94 will have a single lane closed. The 12 Mile Road entrance ramp to eastbound I-94, and the M-3 (Gratiot Ave.) entrance to westbound I-94 will be closed during the same time frame.

In Detroit, northbound I-75 will have the two right lanes closed from Springwells Street to Vernor Highway, fromĀ 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, for sign installation. Expect intermittent closures of the ramp to the Ambassador Bridge. (The detour is Clark Street to northbound I-75 service drive to bridge.)
In Detroit, the southbound I-75 ramp to westbound I-96 will close fromĀ 9 p.m. FridayĀ toĀ 5 a.m. MondayĀ for road work. The posted detour is southbound I-75 to Livernois Avenue to northbound I-75 to westbound I-96.
In Oakland County, northbound I-75, from 14 Mile Road to Big Beaver Road, will have two left lanes closed fromĀ 10 p.m. SaturdayĀ toĀ 10 a.m. SundayĀ for pavement repair.Ā
In Oakland County, northbound and southbound I-75 will have moving lane closures at University Drive from4 a.m. to 12 p.m. SaturdayĀ for bridge work.
M-39 (Southfield Freeway):
In Detroit, northbound M-39, from Ford to McNichols roads will have a moving double lane closure from7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. SaturdayĀ for pavement repair.
I-96:
In Detroit, eastbound I-96 from Warren Avenue to Vernor Highway will have the two right lanes closed from6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, for sign work.Ā
In Detroit, eastbound and westbound I-96, between West Grand Boulevard and Davison Avenue, will have a moving double lane closure fromĀ 7:30 am to 5 p.m. SaturdayĀ for pavement repair.Ā
M-1 (Woodward Avenue):
In Detroit, northbound and southbound M-1 (Woodward Avenue) will close between Mack Avenue and Adams Road fromĀ 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. SaturdayĀ for a parade. The detour is Mack Avenue to southbound I-75 to southbound I-375 into downtown.
US-24 (Telegraph Road):
In Oakland County, southbound Telegraph, north of Long Lake Road, will have the right lane closed fromĀ 7 p.m. FridayĀ toĀ 5 a.m. Sunday, for utility work.
M-59:
In Oakland County, eastbound M-59 will have a single lane closed from Williams Lake to Pontiac Lake roads fromĀ 12 a.m. SaturdayĀ untilĀ 9 a.m. SundayĀ for pavement repair.
MONDAY:Ā
I-96:Ā
In Detroit, eastbound I-96, east of Schaefer Highway, will have the right lane closed fromĀ 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. MondayĀ for sign work.
M-85 (Fort Street):
In Wayne County, north and southbound M-85, between Champaign Road and Goddard Road, will have a right lane closure fromĀ 12 a.m. Monday 11/11/13Ā to 12 a.m.Ā Friday 11/22/13Ā for road work.
