Fenton Mayor Sue Osborn Recovering From Surgery

Osborn will be out of office for four to six weeks.

Fenton Mayor Sue Osborn will be away from the office for awhile as she will be recuperating from surgery.

She recently suffered a mild cardiac event. It is expected that she will enjoy a full recovery and that she will be convalescing for four to six weeks. During her brief absence, Mayor ProΒ­Tem Cheryl King will take on the responsibilities of Mayor.

β€œWe all want to wish Sue a quick and speedy recovery,” said Mayor Pro-Tem King. β€œDuring the Mayor’s brief absence, the City Council will continue to proceed with the business at hand. The day to day operations will continue to be run by our capable administration and staff. We look forward to Sue’s return to her normal duties as Mayor.”

Mayor Osborn has served on the Fenton City Council since 1985 and was first
elected to Mayor in 1999.
