Watch Cowboy Lasso Runaway Cow On I-75 In Oakland County
A police video (with western-inspired music) showed the wranglers trying to lasso the cow in the middle of Interstate 75 in Oakland County.

HOLLY, MI — A real-life cowboy lassoed a sprinting cow in the middle of Interstate 75 traffic Sunday afternoon in Oakland County.
Michigan State Police said a team of wranglers were trying to rescue a cow that was stuck in a gravel pit near Belford Road in Holly Township at 2:50 p.m.
Troopers were patrolling the northbound lanes on Interstate 75 in the area just in case the cow escaped and ran toward the highway.

As the wranglers tried rescuing the cow using horses and four-wheelers, the cow "outsmarted" them and dashed onto the freeway, troopers said.
A video (with western-inspired music) posted to social media showed the wranglers chasing down and trying to lasso the cow while troopers stopped traffic on the freeway in both directions.

The group eventually captured the cow and guided it toward the grassy median of the freeway, police said.
The cow was safely returned to its pasture and traffic resumed in both directions.
