  2. A How the West Was One construction briefing will be given at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Ferndale Downtown Development Authority Office, 149 W. Nine Mile Road. The briefing is open to the public.
  3. The Small, Minority, and Women IN Business Expo will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Shriners Silver Garden Events Center in Southfield. 
  4. Trainer's Total Fitness will hold a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony from 4-5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at 368 Hilton in Ferndale.
  5. Meet adoptable dogs from the Detroit Bully Corps 1:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at The Rust Belt Market in Ferndale.
