Community Invited to Citizens Group 'Civility Project' Kick-Off

Citizens for a Fair Ferndale has received funding to sponsor The Civility Project – a community-wide conversation to consider how to best create and promote the city's culture of civility.

The group aims to strengthen the capacity of the community to engage in fair, honest, inclusive, and constructive conversations.

The kick-off event will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the  and will feature guest facilitator Kent Roberts. The public is invited to participate.

Registration and refreshments begin at 6 p.m.

Roberts is the founder of the National Civility Center and author of "Bring a Dish to Pass."
