This event benefits the Eagles Pledge. The Eagles Pledge is a small group of parents, community members andΒ administrators with the initiative to provide or facilitate financial resources and support services to help graduates of FerndaleΒ High School pursue their dream of a post-secondary education. Patterned after the successful Kalamazoo Promise, the long-term goal of The Eagles Pledge program is to establish a similar scholarship initiative for our own community. The short-term goal, is to award as many scholarships as possible to Ferndale High School graduates each year. The Eagles Pledge awarded four scholarships in 2011, a $500 to a senior, and threeΒ $250 to juniors.
