University High School serves 485 students in grades 9-12.Β The curriculum is rigorous and project based and features a unique, teacher-created College-Prep/ACT Prep Course.Β All students take four years of math, science (culminating in physics), English language arts, and social studies.Β Full-time college transition and campus support staff assist students with college applications, scholarships and financial aid, and with ongoing success once in college.Β To date,Β four classes have graduated with a graduation rate of 99%, and as of Spring 2011, 85% of UHS graduates are actively enrolled in colleges and universities across the country, many with full-ride scholarships.

Student’s classroom experiences are enhanced by direct career immersion made possible with Lawrence Tech educators and business partner mentors. UHS students have opportunities to earn college credit from Lawrence Tech while still in high school, which will be funded by the Friends of UHS. Academically successful studentsΒ are also guaranteed admission to the University.

Among their many accomplishments since UHS opened in 2004, students have won Robotics competition trophies, participated in an award-winning Innovative Vehicle Design (IVD) competitions through the Convergence Education Foundation, and recently received state and national recognition for DECA marketing club competitions.Β

Tickets will be sold at the door. The Loving Touch is located at 22634 Woodward Ave in Ferndale, with preferred parking behind the building.
