Ferndale Police Officer Competes in Brave National Anthem Singing Contest

Brendan Moore needs your vote by Sept. 14 to win a $10,000 grant for the Ferndale Police Department and an opportunity to sing during a Detroit Tigers game.

Voters have until this weekend to show their support for a Ferndale police officerΒ competingΒ inΒ the Brave National Anthem Singing Contest.

Brendan Moore of the Ferndale Police Department is among the 10 police officers and firefighters competing for the opportunityΒ to sing the national anthem during theΒ Detroit Tigers gameΒ Sept. 22 at Comerica Park in DetroitΒ and winΒ 40 tickets to the game, as well as a $10,000 grant for their police or fire station.

MooreΒ was in fourth place in theΒ Comerica Bank contest as of Sept. 5 and voting remains open Saturday, Sept. 14.Β Visit the Comerica Cares page onΒ Facebook, click on the β€œNational Anthem” tab and follow the instructions to vote.

The winner will be announced Monday, Sept. 16.
