Here are her answers.

What does your business offer? 

I'm out to transform the singing experience. I work with singers who are 1) afraid to sing in front of others, 2) inexperienced with good vocal technique, or 3) unsure they can become the singer they want to be.

What's your most popular product or service? 

The 45-minute weekly lesson focusing on breathing and toning basics, but bear in mind that every student's needs are different, and I like to tailor the lessons to each person's specific issues.

What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?

Singing lessons are not just about singing. I have students who are teachers, public speakers, and other professional voice-users; their interest is to gain confidence and stamina wherever they're using their voice.

When was the business founded?

August 2011

How did your business come to be? 

A lot of singers around me were asking if I taught private voice lessons and I always said "no" ....until I stepped away from corporate life to become more fully immersed in my passion of music. This voice studio is the result of that little "yes" that always spoke from inside. I'm training my ear more and more to that "yes," and since I've taken it into teaching, it's completely transformed my life, and the lives of my students.

Why did you choose the area you did?

I like to keep my operations at home in Ferndale. The city is so dynamic and cozy at the same time; it's a real great place to discover who you are, and self-discovery is a central experience in learning to sing.
