Michigan Fallen Heroes Foot Float Seeks Volunteers
Marchers are needed to participate in the Memorial Day parade Monday, May 27, in Ferndale.

On May 27, 2013, the tradition of honoring those who have served our country will be repeated in cities and towns throughout the United States. For the city of Ferndale, the annual Memorial Day Parade will mark the 95th year that the citizens of Ferndale, MI, have honored those who have sacrificed their lives in service to our country with a parade.
In a special tribute to the men and women who gave their lives serving Michigan’s military units in Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts, a local committee of volunteers is seeking to find individuals, groups, families and friends to help honor Michigan’s Fallen Heroes by participating in the “Michigan’s Fallen Foot Float.” Over 200 volunteers are needed to participate in the foot float by marching in the 95th Ferndale Memorial Day parade.
To truly represent each of the men and women who died while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan with a “foot float,” your feet are needed! If you are interested in getting involved with this important and unique tribute, please contact the Michigan Fallen Foot Float Committee at:
