Senior Kitty Loses Owner, Seeks New Home

Tony Is Declawed, Neutered, Vaccinated

The Ferndale Cat Shelter has a number of adoptable kitties waiting eagerly for fur-ever homes. This senior cat had a loving owner who, sadly, passed away this winter. According to the shelter, β€œDarling Tony was surrendered to us when his human passed away. He was alone for a month, so he is a bit shy but very sweet. He is currently being fostered in a private home and has has a couple of foster brothers that will help him adjust.”

If you’d like a sweet, settled cat used to a loving home, visit the Ferndale Cat Shelter online or call (248) 733-3554. The Shelter also operates the Ferndale Catfe, a cat cafe where you can have a beverage and meet other adoptable shelter kitties. The Ferndale Cat Shelter is β€œa no-kill organization, our mission is to improve the lives of felines in the Metro Detroit community and elevate the standards of cat guardianship and adoption,” according to the group’s website.
