Shopping Hours Before and After Christmas From Brighton to Troy

Several of the major national and mom-and-pop retailers will be looking to finish the 2013 shopping season strong with extended hours on the days before and after Christmas. 

Here's what you need to know if you need a last-minute gift, or are looking for post-holiday deals at major shopping centers around southeast Michigan.

Brighton-Howell

The shops at Tanger Outlets will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Christmas Eve. The shops are closed on Christmas, but will be open at regular business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) for the post-Christmas crowds.

Clinton Township

The Mall at Partridge Creek will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The mall is closed on Christmas, but it reopens early on Thursday at 8 a.m.The mall closes at 9 p.m. 

Dearborn

The Fairlane Town Center will be open two hours early, beginning at 8 a.m., and closes at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The mall will be closed on Christmas day, but will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. 

Novi

Twelve Oaks Mall will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve, and will be closed Wednesday, Christmas day. Deal seekers and those with holiday gifts to return are invited back two hours early on Thursday, Dec. 26 at 8 a.m. The mall will close at 9 p.m., and will return to regular hours (10 a.m. to 9 p.m.) starting Friday.

Rochester-Rochester Hills

Special holiday hours for the shops in the Village of Rochester Hills are in place this week, including from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Shops are closed on Christmas day, but will reopen for post-Christmas crowds at 9 a.m. Thursday and close at 10 p.m.

Sterling Heights

Lakeside Mall will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The mall is closed on Christmas, but it reopens early on Thursday at 8 a.m. The mall closes at 9 p.m. 

Troy 

The shopping mecca that is the Somerset Collection in Troy is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and closed on Wednesday, Christmas day. The stores will reopen for all the post-holiday shopping madness at 9 a.m. Thursday, an hour earlier than usual, and will remain open until 9 p.m.

Taylor

The Southland Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and will be closed all day Wednesday for Christmas. Shopping resumes at 9 a.m. and goes to 9 p.m. Thursday.
