1 Dead, 1 Hurt In Wayne County Shooting, Stabbing: Police
Investigators believe this was an attempted murder-suicide.
HARPER WOODS, MI — A man is dead and another man was hurt in an attempted murder-suicide Friday morning in Harper Woods, according to police.
Officers found a man shot to death and another suffering from a stab wound lying in the street on Hunt Club Drive near Duprey Avenue at 2 a.m. Friday, according to police.
One of the men, a 47-year-old Harper Woods man, died from what police believe was a "self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head."

The other, a 34-year-old Detroit man, had a stab wound to the neck and was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition, according to police.
Investigators said the two men were in a dating relationship and returned to Harper Woods from a birthday celebration. They believe the two men got into a fight and the older man stabbed his boyfriend before fatally shooting himself.
