The Class of 2011 has gifted their alma mater with a an ornamental pear tree. A granite marker sits at the tree’s base to denote the gift from Kerby’s most recent graduating class. The new addition, located near Kerby’s front entryway, replaces a larger tree that was knocked down due to high winds last June.
Kerby’s PTO donated funding for the tree and the fifth grade students raised money through various events during the school year.
