Assumption Senior Expo, Rivalry Football Game, Book Sale and More This Weekend

Here are some events to add to your weekend calendar:

• Assumption Cultural Center will the 20th Senior Expo Thursday with informative exhibits, educational seminars, valuable resources, luncheon and 
  entertainment.
• AAUW Grosse Pointe will hold a used book sale at Service for Older Citizens.
• The annual Grosse Pointe North-South Tailgate party will be held from 5-7 p.m Friday at the South High School Front Lawn.
• The North-South football game will kickoff at 7 p.m. Friday at South.
• Mason Elementary will hold the Fall Festival & Pumpkin Salefrom noon - 4 p.m. Saturday. A $5 wristbands for the kids includes big bouncers, games and crafts.
• A weekend of activities are planned for the 75th Anniversary of Grosse Pointe Woods Presbyterian Church.
• Grosse Pointe Farms will host the Autumn Harvest from 1 - 3 p.m. Saturday at Pier Park. Events include a hayride, candy hunt, magic show, fresh donuts, hot cider, s'mores, pumpkin decorating and a petting farm. Admission is $5.
