Grosse Pointe Park Man Accused of Posing as a Police Officer
A Grosse Pointe Park man was arrested in Waterford Township for allegedly impersonating a police officer.

Waterford Township have arrested a 21-year-old Grosse Pointe Park who was allegedly impersonating a police officer, according to a story in The Detroit News.
The Grosse Pointe Park man was arrested June 28 after a 20-year-old Waterford Township woman reported a man with a flashlight flagged her down after she went through an intersection in the township, the story reported.
She drove a short distance before pulling over to call police. The Grosse Pointe Park man, dressed similar to a police officer, approached the vehicle, and after a short conversation left, according to the story.
Waterford Police later went to the intersection where the initial incident occurred, located the man and arrested him.
