Music on the Plaza Tonight: Sun Messengers

The Sun Messengers--a tradition of Music on the Plaza--will perform tonight at 7 p.m. providing a mix of music from rhythm and blues to pop to big band and more on St. Clair Street near Kercheval Avenue in the City of Grosse Pointe.

Dancing is encouraged, according to the Village Association. The well-known band has been performing for more than 30 years and is the former house band for the Detroit Pistons.

The free concert opens at 7 p.m. on St. Clair Street near Kercheval Avenue. The street is blocked off during the concert and attendees are encouraged to bring chairs to listen to the live outdoor concert.
