Reductions Increased at Borders
The Grosse Pointe location of Borders increased its final sale reductions to 25 to 50 percent off.

The Grosse Pointe Borders slated to close by the end of April increased the final sale reductions to 25 to 50 percent this weekend. The reductions will stay in place until the store closes.
The location is one of 200 across the nation the company is closing as part of its reorganization after filing for bankruptcy. The stores listed on the closing list were picked, according to the spokespeople for the Ann Arbor based company, were underperforming locations.
The new reductions were announced to customers of the Grosse Pointe store via email. The first set of reductions ranged from 20 to 40 percent off throughout the store.

This weekend's announcement is the second set of reductions by the store. Officials have said the store will remain open until the inventory is gone.
