Skateboarder Tony Hawk Sends Love To Grosse Pointe Park Eatery

Pro Athlete Highlights Local Breakfast And Lunch Spot On Facebook

Mimi’s Bistro in Grosse Point Park enjoys the patronage of one of Detroit’s newer citizens, professional skateboarder Tony Hawk, whose other adventures in the Motor City include dangling off the edges of one grand old building a good 500 feet from the pavement.

On his Facebook page, Hawk writes"

“Giving another #SmallThanks (via Google) to support a great small business: Mimi's Bistro,” he said. “Our friend Melanie serves up breakfast & lunch recipes handed down from her German great-grandmother in a cozy European-style setting. It is our favorite brunch place when visiting our second home in The D. I highly recommend the ‘Best Fudging Brownie.’”
