Winter Closures, Delays in the Grosse Pointes

Classes are cancelled Tuesday for public and private schools in the Grosse Pointes.

A second snow day has been called for schools in the Grosse Pointes.

Schools closed according to WDIV-TV include:

  • Assumption Center
  • Assumption Nursery 
  • Grosse Pointe Academy
  • Grosse Pointe Nursery
  • Grosse Pointe Public Schools
  • Our Lady Star of the Sea
  • St. Clare of Montefalco
  • St. Paul on the Lake Catholic
  • University Liggett
Additionally, trash collection was delayed one day due to the winter weather in the City of Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Farms, Grosse Pointe Shores and Grosse Pointe Woods. Grosse Pointe Park is on a normal collection schedule.
