Woods to Replace Residential Water Meter Readers
A contractor has been hired to remove the old reader and install a new one, which is to give a more accurate reading.

Grosse Pointe Woods officials distributed a flyer to residents this week regarding the installation of a new water reading system to be installed in every home.
According to the flyer, the city has contracted National Fields Services to do the installation, which are slated to take about 15 minutes. The representatives will disassemble the old meter and install the new one.
The city is asking residents to make sure the area surrounding the water meter in their homes has been cleared to ensure the contractors easy access for the installation.
