Macomb Township asks residents to be mindful of the upcoming winter tax deadline. According to information on the township’s website, “winter taxes are payable from December 1 through February 14, 2018 without penalty. After February 14, 2018 a 3% late fee is assessed through February 28, 2018.”
While Macomb Township’s offices are closed between December 25, 2017 and January 2, 2018, the Treasurer’s office will open specially on December 28 only to accept tax payments. The Treasurer’s Office hours for Thursday will be 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. According to a release, “Payments deposited in the drop box will be posted for the previous business day. No cash please.” The Treasurer’s Office is located on the first floor of 54111 Broughton Road, Macomb.
