Today will be partly sunny with a high of 28 degrees and a 30 percent chance of snow, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight it will be mostly clear with a low around 20.

2. Gas prices

According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the Novi area as of Friday night was $3.35 per gallon at the Speedway on Haggerty and Eight Mile roads.

3. German holiday baking class

Learn to make some traditional, German holiday cooking favorites at this hands-on class with instructor and local chef Ina Cheatem, a native German. The class is from 9 a.m. to noon at Novi Middle School Room 328. Cost is $50 for residents and $55 for non-residents.

4. Novi Rotary fundraiser

The Novi Rotary is hosting the fundraiser event tonight from 6:30-11 p.m. at Suburban Collection Showplace. Cost is $60 per person.
