1. The weather

Today will start cloudy then gradually become mostly sunny with a high of 63 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 41 degrees.

2. Gas prices

According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the Novi area as of Sunday night was $3.29 per gallon at the Speedway at Haggerty Road near 14 Mile Road. 

3. Thank Mayor Landry

Novi will host a community open house tonight to say "thank you" to Mayor Dave Landry for his service to Novi. The event runs from 6-7 p.m. in the Atrium before the regular city council meeting. Light refreshments will be served.

4. City Council meets

The Novi City Council meets tonight at 7 in the Civic Center. Among other items on the agenda, the council will vote on whether to grant a to build an attached hotel. Have an opinion about it? You can speak to the council at the public hearing about the incentive at the beginning of the meeting.
