Crime Report: Car Stolen From Bally's Parking Lot
The following information was supplied by the Novi Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

A man from Southfield reported that his new 2012 Chevrolet Corvette was stolen from the parking lot at on Dec. 9, according to a police report. The man parked his car on the north end of the east lot at 7 p.m. and returned at 9 p.m. to find the car gone, the report said. The owner still had his key to the car and said nobody else drives the car or has keys to it. He had owned the $60,000 car for about a week, he told police.Â
Bally does not have any surveillance cameras of its parking lots and police did not find any signs of forced entry or glass on the ground near the area where the car was parked. The car had not been impounded and OnStar was unable to connect to the vehicle to locate it, the police report said. A police officer did find footprints in the snow that tracked from the area where the car was parked down the entire east side of the parking lot and ending in the south lot at Bally’s, the report said. There are no suspects at this time.
